I am off to Austin Texas next week, and I will miss him. Especially the kisses. And well his way of saying i want you…by tieing our straw wrappers together.

Preparing for preschool
With Porter starting preschool this fall I decided to enjoy his cute little unspoiled kid like spirit and make him some super cute lunches. I got the idea originally from other blogs - (i guess these pups were started in Japan) - They are called Bento boxes.
I scooped up as many cookie cutters (letters, firetrucks, trains, little itty bitty shapes) to make Porter lunch as super duper fun as possible. Figure if its fun he has to want to eat it - am i right? Right.
Its a happy and sad moment buddy that I will cherish forever.
Perhaps he will be a famous chef some day and ccok mommy all kinds of yumminess!
a bit about summer
Summer where did you go? Its been nice knowing you. Nights are getting cooler - and fall is slowly sneaking its way into our lives.
To end it we decided to take a little stay cation, while the kids had a vacation of there own with the grandparents.
Us - golfing. Not so good at it actually - but we tried.
