scarves socks and fall art

A bit of background  - first.  On tuesdays and thursdays I am a mommy and a nanny.  {well kinda}  One of my good friends and I decided one day it would be the most aweosme thing if we could make our schedules just so - so we can each watch the others munchkins and neither of us have to get daycare/sitters.  We made it so!  She has three boys 5, 4 and 18 months so they are all super duper cute together.

So today we danced with scarves and put on silly socks.  It was so stinkin cute.  These guys surely make my day {although you best believe I am tired by the time they leave - they have UNLIMITed energy those boys…whew}

The masterpieces of the older guys.  Handprint art.  They took it to the next level and made "piles" of leaves made by mixing all of the colors on your whole hand and smearing it all around - at the bottom of the picture ...which are to jump in.  Absolute Cuteness.

a lazy Sunday

Its days like Sunday's which I live for.  A stroll through the mall, some Chuck E Cheese for the kiddos (not exactly my favorite place - but they always have a ball) and lunch out.  A carefree day filled with relaxing and hanging out as a family.  You simply can't beat that.  An awesome way to start the week.

New toy

Whelp i wished upon a star (star=husband) and asked for a new fancy dancy camera - one with lots of bells and whistles where i can experiment to my hearts content…and I got it!  Yay!  It was an early birthday present he says.  I have been so darn smitten with this camera (got it last weekend) that ive litteraly taken about 300 pictures in the last week.  I know ridiculos.  But I love it.

It is a Nikon D5000 in case your wondering, and i plan to put this puppy to good use.  I am training the husband as well in preperation for some semi daily outfit pics.  Basically my goal is to post one outfit per week were i am not in complete mommy uniform.  (as a start - annnd maybe more once i have time.  time? what's time?)

Here is some shots i took.  You must know i Love dirty martini's and cheese  - its a must for Jeff and I on weekend nights after the kids are all snuggled looking at the backs of thier eyelids.

The prego is my sis - the one i made this shower cake for - with husband all comfy in the background.  And then theres my little chunk.  Officially 18 months old.  Pure love people.  love i tell ya.

What we did this weekend

Apple picking! Tis the season.  We picked empires and smokehouse at a local farm.  This place was super cute with a little place to pet and feed goats and a playground as well.  We got some yummy apple cider donuts, homemade cookies and went to the park so the little guys could enjoy some playtime mixed with super duper yummy cookies!

What did you do this weekend?
